Upgrade guide

This guide will walk you through the process of upgrading Objective Trapeze for users in your organisation.

Please see the Trapeze Deployment Guide for information regarding the initial installation and configuration of Objective Trapeze.

Planning the upgrade

The following steps are a guide to planning your upgrade:

1. Identify the version of Objective Trapeze you currently have installed. The current version is important to determine if there are any new features available in the latest version that you may wish to configure

2. Decide which users will be upgraded. It is likely you will have an Organisational Unit or Group from the initial installation of Objective Trapeze that you can use again when running the installer to upgrade.

3. Download the installer for the latest version of Objective Trapeze

4. Run the installer to upgrade

5. Deploy your Trapeze license

6. Configure any new features

Where to get the latest version

You can download the installer for the latest version of Objective Trapeze from the Trapeze Download Page.

When upgrading you should use the same type of installer that was originally used to install Objective Trapeze, for example if as recommended in the Trapeze Deployment Guide you used the 64-bit MSI installer then use the latest version of the 64-bit MSI installer to upgrade.
